OPEN
Working towards a CDX? Want to teach your dog jumping and retrieving? Then the Open class is for you. Requirements: Dogs must have reasonable heeling and reliable stays. The class covers: Heeling and Figure 8's off leash, Drop on Recall, Motivational Dumbbell retrieving, Jumping the High jump and Broad Jump. Includes Sit stays and Down stays while the owners are out of sight of their dogs.

BEGINNERS UTILITY
For all dogs who can retrieve. Your dog does not need a CDX to start Utility training. Dogs will be started on Signals, Scent Discrimination, Directed Jumping and Marked Retrieves . Thursday evenings at 7:00pm. (except for club meeting night). Drop ins welcome.

UTILITY
Motivational methods of teaching: Directed Retrieve, Scent Discrimination, Moving Stand for Exam, Directed Jumping Exercises; Hand Signals from a distance. Dogs must have reliable retrieves and stays. Problem solving, proofing, handling and working with distractions to build a solid, confident Utility Dog.

AGILITY RUN-THROUGHS (Occasionally Offered)
For dogs and handlers that have had agility training. Nested courses will be set – up for Novice and Open/Excellent. Run the course or work on training issues. Treats and toys allowed.
