The Tampa Bay Barkaneers started in January 2006 as a part of the Dog Training Club of St. Petersburg. Our team debuted in our first tournament February 2007.  Our goal has always been to have fun and we do! Our members pull together, support each other and help each other train, and compete. It is this TEAMWORK that makes the Barkaneers a great team.  

Only positive training methods are used and we believe our dogs should be having a great time playing this sport. Safety is a big part of our program and dogs are taught proper skills to prevent injury.
Check the DTCSP Schedule to see when our next Flyball Intro class starts. You are also invited to come and watch our racing team practice at 7:00 on Sunday evenings – better check the schedule first to make certain we aren’t away at a tournament.
