How to become a member

Membership is open to all. Prospective members must attend two meetings and be sponsored by a current member. Individual and family memberships are available.

  • Receiving the monthly Club newsletter regarding activities and training information.
  • Ability to attend advanced level obedience classes and tracking instruction.
  • Participation in Club social events, such as the Annual Awards Dinner and Christmas Party.

  • "Active Members" receive training discounts. Definition of "Active Member" is in the club's Standing Rules or By-Laws. *

* Reduced Training Rate Policy

 

To qualify for reduced training rates for July through December members must have in a minimum of six activities during the reporting period of January 1st through June 30th. To qualify for reduced training rates for January through June members must have in a minimum of six activities during the previous reporting period of July 1st through December 31st .

 

New members are eligible for reduced training rates if they have participated in at least one activity per month; from the date they became a member through June 30th. Members are required to 'track" their activities on a form available from the registrar. Forms should be submitted to the registrar at the end of each reporting period. Some activities that qualify are: Cleaning Building, Mowing Lawn, Repair of Building, Stewarding at Trials, Supplying Refreshments for General Meeting.
